How to Make Whatsapp Video Call In Laptop?

There are 2 best ways to do video call over WhatsApp, first is using Facebook messenger and the other one is using an Emulator. Let’s have a quick look.

Using Facebook Messenger

Step 1: Download and install the latest version of WhatsApp on your laptop or computer.

  • Go to the App Store or any browser on your laptop or computer and search for WhatsApp Web
  • Click on install app
  • After installing WhatsApp Web login to your account

Step 2: Login to your WhatsApp account by scanning the QR code from your mobile by going to

  • Settings (the three-dot icon or menu option)
  • Click WhatsApp Web option
  • Scan the QR code to login to your WhatsApp account on your laptop or computer

Step 3: Click on the 3 dot menu option and click on the Create Room option.

  • Then chose Create Room option

Step 4: A message stating create a room in Facebook Messenger will pop up. Click on ‘Continue in Messenger’ to create a room in messenger.

Step 5: Log-in in your FB or Messenger account and then click continue to proceed.

Step 6: Then the room in messenger will be created. Grant audio and video permissions. Then click create a room as name (like here ‘Create Room as TP)

Step 7: A shareable link will be generated. Share the link with your family, friends or the people you want to do video call with and start the conversation for free.

Using the BlueStacks Emulator

BlueStacks is a free cross-platform emulator to provide you a virtual android phone running environment on your Windows or Mac. It is an integration-friendly application and helps you to use all your android applications on your laptop or computer.

Step 1: Download the BlueStacks application on your laptop or computer by:

  • Go to the App Store or any browser of your computer
  • Click on download or install to proceed

Step 2: After finishing the setup process launch the BlueStacks application on your laptop or computer. Then enter your Google account credentials and then click next to proceed.

Step 3: Go to the search bar of the BlueStacks application. Then search for WhatsApp Web in the search bar.

Step 4: Then click on install WhatsApp and then agree to the terms and conditions to proceed.

Step 5: After the installation of WhatsApp Web on your laptop or computer launch the application and set up your account by entering the phone linked to your account. That’s it!
