I and my best friend are very much interested in singing. Some days before, we sang a song together. And that beautiful song was a romantic Hindi song of Arijit Singh-“ Janam Janam” from ‘Dilwale’ movie. And at the time of posting this song on Instagram, we mention
#Arijit_Singh,#Arijit_Singh_official, #Arijit_Singh_romantic etc.
And after somedays, we noticed a very good response from the public. It made me surprise that how was it possible!. And honestly, I am saying, after a lot of research I found some important keys behind the ‘tagging’. In this blog, they are mentioned. I hope, this will be fruitful to you.

Why should one be tagged on Instagram?

There are some important reasons for which Tagging is important on Instagram.
Firstly, On Instagram, when You tag one or any brand, at that moment they will get a notification about the tagging and they are automatically directed to the post. It means that they will be much more likely to like or comment on your picture — thus increasing your engagement.
2ndly, When you tag one in your photos, that photos are visible in the ‘Photos of list’ section on their profile. After some days, when they click the section on their profile, they will see that photo.

What are the Ways to Use Instagram Tagging?

Hashtag:

Hashtags are still playing an important role on Instagram, even more so than they are on Twitter. This is why you’ll typically see a big chunk of hashtags attached to plenty of posts from businesses; they are one of the best ways to increase your reach overall and get your posts in front of interested audiences. You need to use hashtags correctly. Choose the wrong ones, and you won’t get any benefit from them whatsoever.

Here are some of the basic Instagram hashtag best practices that you’ll want to follow in 2020:

  • Try to keep it around 10 hashtags: Using around 10 posts seems to give you the ideal balance of increased reach and engagement. If you go over, some studies show that engagement may decrease slightly.
  • Use a mix of hashtags on every post: You don’t want to use the same list in every single post, because it doesn’t help you consistently reach new audiences. You can create a giant list, and pick and choose for each post to keep things fresh and interesting.
  • Use hashtags that will connect you to potential customers: Consider including location-based hashtags if you’re a local business, like #orlandophotographer or #denverlove. This will help you attract people who may become customers.
  • Always place your hashtags towards the end of the post: Ideally, separate the caption itself from the hashtags with a minimum of one line of space to help break things up and make it more visually appealing.
  • Consider using hashtag research tools: Hashtagify and RiteTag are still the best ones out there, helping you to identify new terms you may not have found and to assess their potential.

Tap  Edit and then  Tag people. Now, follow the above steps to tag another Instagram account in your photo.

This is especially useful for local businesses or if you want to attract more followers who are in the same location as you. For adding a location tag, just read the post uploading process on Instagram and then select the option to Add Location after you’ve typed out your caption.
